WorldVistA Electronic Health Record

The WorldVistA EHR is an opensource electronic health record(EHR) based on the highly acclaimed VistA system of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The foundation for WorldVistA EHR was developed as part of the VistA-Office project, a collaborative effort funded by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). WorldVistA is the only opensource Electronic Health Record to receive CCHIT certification and HIPAA Compliant.
